If like us, you leave the wrapping until Christmas Eve, this post might help you with some last minute wrapping ideas.
Boxes. They’re great – you shove the present in, pop a lid on and boom, you’re done. Bit sad though… isn’t it?
As such, we’ve added a few little tweaks to make the humble gift box a little more well… flamboyant!
We ADORE our new Gems wrapping range for Christmas this year, so we opted for a hexagonal box. Then we passed it over to our in-house wrapping expert Lauren to see what she would do with it. Her brief was – make this jazzy. Girl did good.
Take your box and pop your present inside.
Add some iridescent shredded tissue to cover the present with
Add a sprinkling of sequins…
Pop a lid on it.
Draw a letter on a plain gift tag and cut it out.
Slather on some glue and add a hefty sprinkling of sequins. Corrrr, that’s tasty.
Now we want to add some ribbons around the box to hold the lid on, which also look beyootiful! Glue the first one round and add two more at regular intervals.
Now add a three more ribbons, but this time loop them round.
More sequins now – add spots of glue and layer up a few sequins in the centre. It looks so pretty!
That’s it! Easy. Question is, will you be making the effort, or just shoving it in the box?
