Jess and Emily from Bespoke Bride are back with us guest blogging – yay! Wanna throw a pastel styled bridal shower? Then you’ve come to the right place! Most items can be found in the hen party section on our website & in flagship stores.
Ladies, show us the way…
When it comes to colour schemes for bridal showers or hen parties we feel like pastels are the ultimate choice! The peaches, pinks and pretty tones are a really subtle and easy way to add the girlie factor to the party! Team those shades with accents of gold and copper and you’re onto a real winner!
Let’s get started shall we?
YOU WILL NEED:
Party Phrases Paper Cups // Pastel long candles // Pastel balloons (set of 12) // Pastel Tassel garland // Party phrases paper napkins // Pastel foil confetti // Party phrases paper plates // Rose gold love balloon // Team Bride Glasses // A Cake // Mini Cupcakes // Sweets //
At the heart of any beautifully styled table is a table runner so we decided that instead of hanging up the tassel garland we would lay it down throughout the middle of the table to really add a pop of colour to our styling!
Once that was in place it was time to add in our slogan party ware! We’re so obsessed with the fun quotes on the plates, cups and napkins! They work so well together and really bring the party theme to life! We started off placing all of the plates down and then added the napkins and cups to the right of each place setting.
Next it was time for the favours! We thought that the team bride glasses are such a cute little take home gift for your gal pals and not to mention they make the perfect photo prop for all of the selfies that will be going on at the party! We placed these directly behind each of the plates, nestling them into the table runner slightly.
At the end of the table we really wanted to add a statement piece and this is where the rose gold love balloon came in handy! We propped it up against the wall that our table was against but If you liked you could always have it hanging on a back wall instead. We love how it brought out the gold details on the plates, cups and napkins, it tied everything together so well!
What party would be complete without cake? We decided to put our cake in the very middle of our table and added in those super long pastel candles to add a touch of height to the styling! We then popped mini cupcakes on each of the napkins and filled a few small bowls up with sweets too!
Finally we blew up those pastel balloons and added them into the mix! They look great on the floor around the table or if you prefer you could have them filled with helium, we thought they would look super cute tied to the back of each of the chairs too!
So there you have it, a really easy way to style up a pastel bridal shower or hen party that the girls will love! Which was your favourite piece?! (And the cake doesn’t count!) xxx
